Welcome
Thanks for visiting my blog! I am a newborn, child, & family photographer in Bakersfield, California. I am also mom to 2 gorgeous little girls and a part time L&D nurse. It's a busy life, but I wouldn't change it.
I just wanted to say that you inspire me. I picked up my first DSLR (an olympus) in NOV of '08 when I saw my friend's macro work and soon realized that I love taking shots of my two children. I no longer have to wait on the P&S. I moved to Bako about 18 months ago and have since outgrown my entry level oly and purchased a canon with a little more umph. I have had a harder time finding places here that I have wanted to shoot at as I have been in SoCal most of my life, but as my daughters kindergarten class will be going to banducci's I figured that would be a great place to shoot, I googled it and found you blog! Like you, many of my friends have asked and asked me to shoot their families but I haven't done it. From reading your story and seeing your work, I am beyond inspired! So thank you thank you. As a single mother and Full-time Soldier, I have been trying to figure out ways to make a little more income and enjoy doing so. It's been in my hands for the last two years! Your family is beautiful and your work is inspirational.
